Little Changes

Farmhouse progress is slow going but every time I make a tiny change it seems to warm the house up a little bit more. I am still lacking lots of things I need but it's coming together, it's just an ongoing project. I am the type of person who likes to finish things quickly so I'm trying to enjoy doing something here-and-there and not rush it. Hope you'll enjoy your visit <3

One of my dear friend Vicky's heart pictures hangs next to the fireplace now. I got the lamp and candlesticks painted, a stool for inside the fireplace and a new vase. Still needing photos for the frame in the floor and either a picture or mirror for the one above the mantle.

this little guy is Max. He's waiting patiently for me to make the pillow for his dog bed

Vicky's other heart picture is upstairs with all of the pink girly treasures <3
(thank you again Vicky. *hugs*)

My darling mother made me ruffled curtains for the windows (she's SO good to me)

And I got these three gorgeous pieces in the back corner from Denise at Deesware
not only are her miniatures beautiful but she is an angel to work with. You should definitely visit her shop

My friend Lisa sent us some adorable miniature goodies for Christmas and they found a permanent home in the farmhouse bedroom.

I'm still here, thinking of you all just swamped. About three more weeks then I will have a little break and a little more time to breathe... the past week has been really trying. I'm exhausted
Sending love XOX

  3. Dear Danielle, that's nice to see the work in progress of your farm :-)
Of course, everything is wonderful, as was to be expected. I am very attentive to detail and noticed the care that you put in the finishing of the edges of the house.
Have you used simple wooden strips? This, to me, is a sorrowful note :-(
In addition, I believe that we have the same upholstered armchair (I saw an armrest) :-)
Is there any news of the rug? By now you should have received it ...
Meanwhile, a warm hug and see you soon with further progress
